A trio of new clips from Maleficent have arrived online, starring Angelina Jolie as the titular anti-heroine.
The new clips show Jolie revelling in Maleficent's panto villainy, as she sets about casting a pall of shadow wherever she goes. Even the wildlife is afraid of her…
There's also a new glimpse of Elle Fanning's fair maiden, who looks set to fall into "a sleep like death".

Taking aside a slightly wobbly English accent, it looks like Jolie is having tremendous fun here. Let's just hope the rest of the fairytale lives up to her grandstanding…
Directed by Robert Stromberg and co-starring Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple and Sam Riley, Maleficent will open in the UK on 28 May 2014.
