A new trailer has arrived online for Wish I Was Here, Zach Braff's Kickstarter-funded directorial project, in which he also stars as struggling actor, Aidan Bloom.
The new film sees Bloom struggling to juggle his stalling career with a number of family troubles, including an ailing father, and a pair of kids for whom he can't pay school fees.
Reluctantly deciding to home-school them, he sets about finding some perspective as he realises his role as a father is more important than any dreams of fame and fortune.
Take a look at the new trailer, below…
Looks like heartwarming life lessons aplenty then, although thanks to Braff's winning brand of comedy, it's likely to be a lot less cloying than that sounds at first glance...
Co-starring Mandy Patinkin, Joey King and Kate Hudson, Wish I Was Here will open in the UK on 19 September 2014.
