The first trailer for Denzel Washington's action flick The Equalizer has landed online.
Inspired by the '80s TV series of the same name, Washington plays an intelligence officer who goes vigilante when a young prostitute (Chloe Grace Moretz) is kidnapped by the Russian Mafia.
Considering it's the first film Washington's made with director Antoine Fuqua since Training Day, we expect big things, and this trailer certainly delivers them.

Intense, huh? This looks every bit as gritty and hard-hitting as anything else Fuqua's done, and Washington's genuinely terrifying as the unstoppable killer who times his beatings and gasses his victims.
The Equalizer opens in the UK on 26 September 2014 - and, frankly, September can't come quickly enough.
