Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight will begin shooting in December

Things are moving forward on Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, with the project set to begin filming in December.

According to The Denver Post, cameras will begin rolling on 8 December, with the film to be shot entirely in Colorado on 70MM film.

The film will operate on a $44 million budget, with the report claiming that this will be the biggest production to shoot in the state since the 1969 version of True Grit.

The film will follow a stagecoach of disparate characters forced to seek shelter in a nearby tavern during a freak snowstorm. With a collection of hugely combustible personalites under one roof, tensions soon begin to boil over…

The official cast has yet to be confirmed, but Kurt Russell, Jennifer Lawrence, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Madsen have all been strongly linked to the project. With the shoot fast approaching, hopefully they will be confirmed sooner rather than later.
