A new TV spot has arrived online for Gone Girl, in which Ben Affleck’s protagonist faces the fight of his life to clear his name after his wife disappears.
The new spot focuses on the living nightmare Affleck’s character finds himself in, as police, media and members of the public all point the finger squarely at him.

The publicity material has done a good job of building anticipation for Gone Girl without giving away any of its secrets, and newcomers and book-readers alike should be in for a treat when the film finally hits our screens.
Directed by David Fincher and co-starring Rosamund Pike, Kim Dickens and Neil Patrick Harris, Gone Girl will open in the UK on 2 October 2014.
