A new red-band has arrived for The Interview, in which James Franco and Seth Rogen find themselves tasked with assassinating Kim Jong-Un.
Franco plays a popular TV interviewer specialising in celebrity gossip and tabloid shock stories, while Rogen is his long-standing producer with dreams of working to a proper news agenda.
So, when the opportunity to interview Kim Jong-Un comes up, Rogen manages to persuade Franco to take the gig, only to find there’s more to the set-up than initially meets the eye…

While the jokes are certainly on the crude side (“weapon of ass destruction”), there look to be laughs aplenty on offer here, as Rogen and Franco take a frankly ludicrous scenario and run with it for all it’s worth…
Directed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and co-starring Lizzy Caplan and Randall Park, The Interview will open in the UK on 6 February 2015.
