A green-band version of the latest trailer for The Interview has arrived online, and pleasingly, it’s every bit as funny as the swear-laden one we saw earlier this week.
The new film will see talk-show veterans James Franco and Seth Rogen planning to use and interview with Kim Jong-un to carry out an assassination mission issued to them by the CIA.
This latest trailer covers much of the same ground as the red-band version, although it does contain some all-new gags, most of which land squarely on their mark…

Happily, it seems that the film won’t live or die on its more puerile content (and there’s plenty of it), with this latest trailer packing plenty of green-band laughs into the mix. Consider us excited!
Directed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg and co-starring Lizzy Caplan as the duo’s CIA handler, The Interview will open in the UK on 6 February 2015.
