Adi Shankar, the man who has produced the mainstream likes of Dredd and Lone Survivor, but is more likely to be found creating his own content with his Bootleg Universe shorts and series, has a new project in the works. He has Gods And Secrets on the way, with a cast that includes Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Denise Richards, Jane Seymour and wrestling legend "Diamond" Dallas Page.
Gods And Secrets is an indie production that dives deep into the world of superheroes and how their actions affect those around them. It’s designed to put a fresh spin on the comic book tropes and push the boundaries of what’s possible within the genre.
Shankar is co-directing the instalments with Stewart Yost, working from a script by Shawn Deloache, and the likes of Sharni Vinson, Alexandra Billings and Andy Milonakis are also among the cast. Gods And Secrets doesn’t however, fall within Shankar’s Bootleg Universe, which has brought us such shorts as The Punisher: Dirty Laundry and Power/Rangers – this is something new.
