Warner is pressing forward with an Aquaman movie, with the studio having hired two writers to pen two different versions of the script.
According to THR, Aquaman will be one of the unnamed projects for which the studio recently revealed a batch of release dates, with the character set to be introduced in Batman v. Superman .
No casting has officially been confirmed yet, but it is widely believed that Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa will be the man to take the title role
The report also reveals that Warner has hired Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad to write their own respective scripts, with studio bosses to pick their favourite further down the track.
As to when the film might arrive, we’re having to go on guesswork, but THR does speculate that Aquaman could be one of the first DC projects to follow Batman v. Superman, and 5 August 2016 would be the next available slot…
