No, the new poster for Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes does not mean that the latest franchise entry will be a big-budget, horse-powered remake of this segment from Stephen Colbert’s show. What it promises, in fact, is Andy Serkis’ Caesar and the rest of his ape family/troops taking their conflict with humanity to another level even as he tries to push for peace. Set a decade after the events in Rise, the world is a very different place.
