The first trailer has arrived online for David Ayer's war film, Fury, and it looks to be both bruising and thrilling in equal measure.
The new film follows Brad Pitt's grizzled WW2 Sergeant as he leads a lone tank crew on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines, in an attempt to help end the conflict once and for all.
This first trailer puts plenty of focus on the relationship between Pitt's character and wide-eyed rookie Logan Lerman, who soon finds out that for peace to be won, a whole lot of people are going to have to die…
Take a look at the new trailer, below…
While the combat scenes look spectacular and thrilling, the real hook here looks to be the claustrophobic peril our heroes find themselves in, as the odds become ever more stacked against them. Five against 300 doesn't sound great to us...
Directed by Ayer and co-starring Jon Bernthal, Michael Peña, Shia Labeouf and Jason Isaacs, Fury will open in the UK on 24 October 2014.
