As we roar towards the conclusion of The Hunger Games film series, the marketing team has rolled out another promotional banner for the film, this time tied to the fact that it’s five years since Suzanne Collins’ third novel Mockingjay – adapted into two movies – was published. The version above is just the smaller size to fit on to the page – check out the full, scrollable banner right here.
Following on from the first Mockingjay, the second part of the story finds Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and the rebels making the final push against Donald Sutherland's scheming President Snow and the Capitol, with lives on the line and sacrifices to be made. The new movie should boost the action quotient as the bigger beats are to be found lurking towards the end of the book.
And this striking new image – some less-than-amazing photo-shopping aside – shows Katniss and some of her fellow characters standing amidst the rubble of a down statue of Snow. Looks like it’s been quite a battle…
With Francis Lawrence again directing and his namesake joined on screen by Josh Hutcherson, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Willow Shields, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone and more, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 lands in our cinemas on November 20.
