This week Empire welcomes a debutant to the podbooth. Ed Skrein is a name you'll be hearing a lot in months, and years, ahead. He's "the new Jason Statham" in Transporter: Refuelled, and will battle wisecracking Wade Wilson as Ajax in Deadpool. He's a man on the up-and-up in other words, and, donchaknow, he's even played Glastonbury. Plenty to chat about in other words, after accepting his first podcast podcap. Well, we're all about the ceremony.
This week also sees the team run the rule over Andrew Haigh's marvellous marital drama 45 Years, N.W.A. band-opic Straight Outta Compton and Zac Efron's DJ drama We Are Your Friends, as well as all the usual news and views.
