With a pic and concept for the Mouse House's new short
In recent years, short animated films have become a staple again in front of Disney’s ‘toon features, and with the Mouse House’s latest offering, Big Hero Six, arriving later this year in the States and early next in the UK, the company has announced the title and basic concept for its latest, Feast .
Directed by Patrick Osborne, who been an animator and animation supervisor on the likes of Bolt, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph and Paperman, Feast will tell the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend – his dog Winston. The ups and downs of the various relationships are shown via their shared meal times. {Feast}
No other details have been revealed beyond the first still image showing the dog’s bowl and his shadow (above) and the title logo.
Big Hero 6, meanwhile, sees Disney’s Feature Animation department dipping their toes into Marvel territory for the first time – albeit with no direct connection to the MCU, unless Kevin Feige and co. are being even sneakier than we give them credit for – adapting the adventures of a ragtag group of first-time crime fighters who must save their city, San Fransokyo from a huge threat. We got a look at some early footage last year. Both Feast and Big Hero 6 will hit UK screens on February 13 next year.
