A new clip has arrived online for The Imitation Game in which Benedict Cumberbatch considers the notion of artificial intelligence.
The scene features the interrogation of Cumberbatch’s Alan Turing by Rory Kinnear, a back and forth that serves as the framing device for the rest of the film’s narrative.
Kinnear questions Cumberbatch on whether a machine might ever be said to be able to think for itself, a question that leads Cumberbatch to pose some intriguing questions of his own…
