Hector And The Search For Happiness is the story of a London psychiatrist and his quest to find the answer to all the big questions. What’s the key to true inner peace? Where do you find it? How does it survive your first trip to IKEA?

Directed by Serendipity’s Peter Chisholm, Hector is based on a bestselling novel by Frenchman François Lelord and sees Hector bidding a temporary farewell to Clara and their cosy domesticity to see the world and find himself. It’s prompted by his own unhappiness, and that of his patients, and soon has him encountering Stellan Skarsgård’s billionaire, Jean Reno’s arms dealer and Christopher Plummer, an expert in a science we’re going to describe as happyiology for want of a more accurate term.
