A new image has arrived online from Batman v. Superman , giving us a new look at Ben Affleck in character as the caped crusader.
Released to coincide with the character’s 75th anniversary, the new image shows Affleck looking rather grim in his cowl and cape, in a distinctly atmospheric pose.
The close-up shot also gives us a chance to examine the new cowl in more detail, with its skin-tight, furrowed brow and distinctively short ear-protrusions.
Hopefully this will just be the start of the weekend’s Batman v. Superman revelations, with the film set to take a panel to Hall H at Comic-Con on Saturday.
Directed by Zack Snyder and co-starring Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg and Amy Adams, Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice will open in the UK on 29 April 2016.
