But his seemingly humble and happy life is threatened when a group of deadly drug runners decide that the quiet border spot where he works would be the prime location for their new route. He’s forced into a serious battle protect the people he loves the most.
Highland Film Group is touting the rights to this one at the Toronto Film Festival, which gets underway next week. Momoa has worked on several films recently, including Sugar Mountain and The Bad Batch (which finds him appearing alongside Keanu Reeves and Jim Carrey), and he’s shooting the comedy Going Under. His Aquaman should be cameoing in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, out here on March 25 next year and he’ll also be seen in the Justice League films and his own solo effort, with James Wan directing and a planned release date of July 26, 2018.
