A new trailer has arrived online for Mortdecai, David Koepp’s comedy caper starring Johnny Depp as the titular roguish art dealer.
When a priceless painting is stolen from British shores, the government turns to our man Mortdecai to return it, citing Queen and country as the necessary motivation for doing so.
However, Mortdecai is in a bit of financial bother himself, and has other ideas for where the painting might end up once recovered…

Ludicrously OTT it might be, but there’s a breathless mania to the whole thing that’s remarkably infectious, while Depp looks as though he’s having the time of his life…
Directed by Koepp and co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Munn, Ewan McGregor and Paul Bettany, Mortdecai will open in the UK on 23 January 2015.
