Ellen Page And Allison Janney Turn Out For Tallulah

Ellen Page And Allison Janney Turn Out For Tallulah

It's a Juno reunion

Eight years on, Juno and Brenda are to be reunited. Or rather Ellen Page and Allison Janney will be sharing a screen again. They've both signed up for Sian Heder's comedy drama Tallulah.

Babies are involved again too, although this time rather differently. The plot revolves around a bored Beverley Hills housewife who hires "free spirit" Page as a babysitter. Page is then initially thought to have kidnapped the kid, but forms a deep friendship with the mother, and with the mother of her ex-boyfriend, who somehow becomes involved.

Heder has most recently been writing and story editing on Orange Is The New Black, and Tallulah marks her feature writing/directing debut, after a couple of short films. She's also an actress, but no one's yet saying that she's earmarked a role for herself.

“We believe in emotionally charged stories with universal themes,” says producer Russell Levine. “This project has award-winning talent teamed up with a gifted young writer-director who wrote a brilliant script. Ellen Page and Allison Janney will give this film the nuanced comedic and dramatic strength it needs and we’re thrilled to move this project forward.”

Chris Columbus is also among the producers, and shooting is set to start in June.
